The vessel of glory

THE VESSEL OF GLORY

In stillness, I lay myself down

Empty me, Lord,

That I may be wholly filled.

With Your consuming fire,

Burn away all things,

And fill this empty vessel.

Create in me a pure heart,

Shape in me a holy life,

That I may carry You.

Let me rise as a single flame,

Living by the purpose You’ve given,

Mold me as the vessel of glory.

 

잠잠히 내려놓기를

깨끗이 비워지기를

온전히 채워지도록

그 소멸하는 불로

모든 것 사르시고

빈 잔을 채우소서

순결한 맘이 되어

정결한 삶이 되어

부어주실 영광 담도록

하나의 불로 피어나

이 생명 주신 뜻대로

영광의 그릇되게 하소서
