Consecration

 

The consuming fire within me
It burns away the darkness in my mind
It circumcises my dull heart

The double-edged sword pouring upon me
It severs the yoke that binds my thoughts
It pierces deep into my numb heart

Your Spirit moving furiously
Awakening and renewing my mind
Separating my heart from all mixtures

The glory shining within me
Let it radiate like pure gold
Again I offer myself to You completely

 

“Since we are receiving our rights to an unshakable kingdom we should be extremely thankful and offer God the purest worship that delights his heart as we lay down our lives in absolute surrender, filled with awe. For our God is a holy, devouring fire!” (Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭28‬-‭29‬)

 

헌신

 

내 안에서 타오르는 강한 불
부정적인 어둠을 태워버리고
무뎌진 마음을 벗기듯 찢는다

내게로 쏟아지는 날선 검
생각을 묶는 굴레를 끊어버리고
굳어진 마음을 깊숙이 찌른다

휘몰아치는 거룩한 영
잠들었던 영혼을 깨워 새롭게 하고
타협했던 모든 것을 가른다

내 안에서 찬란히 빛나는 영광
정금처럼 계속 빛나기를
또 다시 온전히 나를 드린다

“그러므로 우리가 진동치 못할 나라를 받았은즉 은혜를 받자 이로 말미암아 경건함과 두려움으로 하나님을 기쁘시게 섬길찌니 우리 하나님은 소멸하는 불이심이니라” (히브리서‬ ‭12‬:‭28‬-‭29‬)
